USDM 88-91 Civic/CRX Headlight intake duct (kit)

Introducing our revolutionary 3D printed intake duct, designed to significantly reduce your engine's intake air temperature by replacing the factory headlamp. This innovative duct not only improves performance but also offers integrated features such as a high beam functionality and a running light.

Compatible with all 88-91 Civic Hatch/Sedan/Wagons and CRX models with USDM front ends, our headlight duct stands out from the competition. Unlike other options that utilize lower grade materials prone to warping, we manufacture our duct using high-quality ABS. ABS is a preferred choice for engine bay components by numerous OEMs due to its remarkable high glass transition temperature.

Please note that ABS is not UV resistant. For vehicles that are regularly stored outdoors and exposed to sunlight, we recommend either clearing or painting the duct. If you desire a UV resistant solution right out of the box, we offer an ASA upgrade for an additional $20. ASA possesses the same excellent thermal properties as ABS while offering UV resistance. Additionally, if yellowing is a concern, the translucent polycarbonate option should be clear coated with 2K clear, similar to other plastic headlight lenses.

Assembly and wiring responsibilities lie with the user. Basic knowledge of wiring and soldering is required, although rest assured that all necessary components for a fully functional plug and play headlight are included. We thoroughly test and confirm the functionality of all electrical components before shipment, ensuring a hassle-free experience for our customers.

We recommend utilizing OEM headlamp hardware with lock washers to ensure bolts do not back out.
